Ensuring Accuracy and Accountability in Concrete Scanning
Fraser Valley Concrete Scanning Ltd.
In the fast-paced, high-stakes world of construction, minimizing risk is paramount. At Fraser Valley Concrete Scanning Ltd., we understand that our clients rely on precise and accountable scanning services to avoid unexpected issues during coring, cutting, and construction activities. While other companies may distance themselves from liability, we embrace accountability with every scan we perform.
Our Commitment to Quality and Reliability
We’re committed to delivering what we promise, every time. The aim of our reports is to ensure clear, comprehensive communication regarding what can be expected from each scan and to outline any important considerations. We want you to have confidence in the value you receive from our services.
Standing By Our Work
To provide an additional layer of assurance, we offer a unique commitment: if a buried target we identified in a suspended slab is later misidentified and damaged during coring, we will cover repair costs up to $2,500*. This pledge sets us apart from competitors who often refuse to take responsibility for post-scan issues, leaving clients to shoulder unexpected repair costs.
Scope and Limitations
Transparency is key in our approach. While we stand by our work, certain conditions must be met to ensure the integrity of our scans and accountability:
- Scan Boundaries: Damage occurring outside the scan boundary, or in areas flagged as incomplete or unsuitable, is not covered.
- Following Guidance: We carefully mark and document locations and boundaries. To ensure safe coring, this guidance must be followed precisely.
- On-Site Markings: Over time, on-site markings may fade. We ask clients to communicate with us immediately if such markings are compromised.
- Professional Oversight: Alternative approaches should be followed only with guidance from the relevant experts (e.g., engineers, mechanical/electrical consultants) and with proper permissions.
Liability and Client Use of Reports
Our reports, photos, drawings, and deliverables are designed solely for the client’s use within the project scope (e.g., cutting, coring, RFIs). They should not be reproduced, disclosed, or repurposed without prior consent, as unauthorized use releases us from liability.
Our $5,000,000 Commercial General Liability Policy, including Professional Liability (Errors & Omissions), reflects our commitment to your project’s success and our dedication to standing by our work.
At Fraser Valley Concrete Scanning Ltd., we understand that every project is unique and deserves diligent attention. We welcome you to reach out with any questions about our scanning reports or how we ensure your project’s safety and integrity. Your peace of mind and project’s success are our priority.
